  • Dai Nippon Dairy Co., Ltd.. was established at 198, Shimoishii, Okayama. Capital was 2,000,000 JPY.
Oct-57
  • The company changed its name to Ohayo Dairy Products Corp.
Feb-63
  • Ohayo Dairy Products started manufacturing and sales of ice cream.
  • A milk powder factory was newly established in Osafune-cho, Oku-gun.
Apr-64
  • Ohayo Dairy Products opened its Tokyo Sales Office.
Jul-66
  • Construction was completed for the Head Office Factory and Office at the current location; operations were moved and launched.
Sep-69
  • Ohayo Dairy Products received a designation by the Australian Dairy Produce Board, established a cheese plant in the Head Office Factory, and started the manufacturing and sale of cheese products.
Dec-74
  • Opened the Osaka Sales Office.
Mar-82
  • We established a yogurt plant in the Osafune Factory and launched drink type yogurt. The 500-ml. container for household consumption became a big hit.
May-83
  • Granted our yogurt drink manufacturing technology to Australian dairy manufacturer “Garden City”.
Dec-83
  • Built the “Nihonbashi Fuji Building” in Nihonbashi in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, and started aggressive sales activities.
Jan-85
  • Introduced the Corporate Identity system, renewed the logo design, and made a new start.
Apr-88
  • Integrated the Kyoto and Amagasaki Sales Offices into the Osaka Branch, and then strengthened the sales structure in the Kinki region.
  • Established the Planning Department in Nihonbashi Fuji Building. The company started aggressive marketing activities.

  • Saitama Sales Office and Sendai Sales Office were opened.
Mar-89
  • Established the Kanto factory in Taiyomura, Kashima-gun, Ibaraki, which was the main manufacturing plant for the Tokyo metropolitan area and Northern part of Japan above Tokyo.
Feb-92
  • Along with the full-scale entry into the pudding market, established a plant dedicated to pudding in the Kanto Factory.
Feb-93
  • Baked pudding Custard won the Food Hit Grand Prize / Excellence Hit Award.
Jun-94
  • We commenced the consignment production of ice cream in a business collaboration with Regal Cream Products Pty, Ltd. of Australia.
Jun-96
  • Established the Okayama Branch, strengthening the sales structure in the Okayama area.
Jan-98
  • We acquired primary approval for the integrated hygiene management manufacturing process HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point).
Sep-98
  • Fukuoka Sales Office became to a branch office.
May-99
  • Established an environmental management office.
Dec-99
  • Established a compost plant in the Kanto Factory and started manufacturing compost.

  • Expanded the yogurt plant in the Kanto Factory.

  • Discovered our probiotic strain (called as L-55 lactic acid bacteria).

  • Acquired ISO 14001 certification by Kanto factory.

  • The Sendai Sales Office became the Tohoku Branch Office.

  • The Nagoya Sales Office became the Chubu Branch, the Osaka Branch became the Kansai Branch, Okayama Branch became the Chugoku & Shikoku Branch, and Fukuoka Branch became the Kyushu Branch.

  • Established an environmental/safety management office to supervise the company’s environmental management and occupational health and safety operations.

  • At Mondo Selection, an international food commodity fair, Tokuno 4.4 Milk and Chocolate Ice Cream Bar received the 2007 Gold Award.

  • At Mondo Selection, Tokuno 4.4 Milk and Chocolate Ice Cream Bar received the 2008 Gold Award (for the second consecutive year).

  • Established a new ice cream plant in the Head Office factory premises. Production began.

  • Completed the construction of the new head office building in the head office factory premises.
Feb-09
  • Received recognition from the METI’s Chugoku Bureau of ministry of Economy Trade and Industry as “Excellent Energy Management Factory”.
Mar-09
  • Introduced dedicated facilities for fruit yogurt able to complete the entire process of molding containers, filling with yogurt, and sealing.
  • Commercialized the yogurts using Plant Lactobacillus P2L9 found in the white peach procured from Okayama.

  • At Mondo Selection, Tokuno 4.4 Milk and Chocolate Ice Cream Bar received the Gold Award for the third year running.
  • Also simultaneously received the “International High Quality Trophy”.

  • In order to aggregate the order reception center in the eastern and western regions, anew order reception center was newly established in the Head Office.
